Who We Are
Jaymi Furniss-Jones
Jaymi Furniss-Jones is an attorney and a former licensed social worker. She attended Baylor Law School where she served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Baylor Law Review, competed on the Baylor Law National Evidence Moot Court Team, was admitted to the Baylor Barrister Society and graduated cum laude.
Prior to attending law school, Jaymi received her Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from Baylor University. For over ten years, Jaymi served in social services as a supervisor for the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network (RAINN), an analyst for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and a mental health specialist for Williamson County Emergency Services.
Jaymi has a passion for social justice and remains committed to serving families of all shapes and sizes in Texas.

Serena Fast
Serena Fast is the legal secretary for The Furniss Jones Collaborative. She attended Baylor University where she graduated from the Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She also holds a legal secretary certificate from Texas A&M International University and has previously worked as an Executive Assistant at the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.
Serena is a passionate proponent of civil rights and social justice for all, in Texas and around the world.

Tatiana Ordonez
Tatiana Ordonez is the Client Relations Assistant for The Furniss Jones Collaborative. Tatiana's past work experience has always included building and maintaining relationships with clients and other external parties.
Having grown up in Mexico and immigrating to the United States, she has extensive personal knowledge of cultural issues and challenges facing Hispanic families. She understands how the language can be a barrier. She loves helping people, and she prides herself on being a very empathetic person.
Tatiana is an advocate for civil rights. She enjoys engaging with and contributing to the community. She is always eager to help and learn.
